dL.1

Well this is my first photographical blog post. Apparently this is how I'll be handing in my assignments for my AP Art class. So here you go Mrs. Chan, and to everyone else, enjoy.

Now, in relation to this specific photo: I took it whilst in Newport, Rhode Island, walking along the world renowned cliff walk. I simply found a leaf, ripped it in two, flipped one side over, and had someone hold it down so the wind wouldn't blow it away. Then when it came to editing i removed 90% of all color except for the basic green color range and placed a spot light layer on the photo. From there i just edited basic lighting levels, slapped on my name, and bam you have a dLightful photo.

  1. I like everything you make! Also, the whole delighful thing is just..too nifty. but ah, I definitely think you easily have a career in this, you can tell the difference between someone who thinks they're the cats pajamas at photography and just takes lame shots, and somebody (such as you) who knows what they're doing. It's neat how you take random objects that people take for granted and make it into an interesting photo. i'm sure Brian Valentine would be proud.
